Mathematics

At Halo Nursery we guide out little Halo’s in developing their skills with numbers as well as being able to describe shapes, spaces, and measures.

At Halo Nursery we have a dedicated area for mathematical learning to excite and enable the children to explore and count.

At Halo Nursery we offer children patterns so they can learn to recognise the fundamental rules behind them, describe patterns and create their own. Group Leaders are encourage children and give them the opportunities to measure and compare quantities while developing the vocabulary to describe what they are doing.

All out little Halo’s are supported to be creative, problem solvers and critical thinkers by giving them plenty of opportunities to play, learn and have fun.
